The Badger Startup Summit is Wisconsin’s premier event for entrepreneurs, innovators, and supporters of our startup community.
Founded 14 years ago by Matthew Younkle and Allen Dines, the summit highlights bold ideas and inspiring stories fueling Wisconsin’s startup growth. Over time, it has grown to include engaging talks, practical resources, and valuable networking opportunities.
A standout feature is the MERLIN Mentors Pitch & Replay, started by Dennis Barnum. This event lets founders and leaders practice their pitches, get feedback, and grow their businesses.
Since 2022, 100state has coordinated the summit, continuing the founders’ vision. We support Wisconsin’s next generation of entrepreneurs and help build lasting connections.
The summit launches the annual Forward Festival, held August 18th–22nd, and welcomes everyone in the startup ecosystem. Attendance is free but requires registration through the Forward Fest platform.
